From the Paris Olympics to the weight room of PalabancaSport after more than two weeks of rest after the efforts in Paris served to recover energy and focus on new objectives with a view to Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza.

This morning the Italian nationals Yuri Romanò and Gianluca Galassi and the Olympic champion Antoine Brizard welcomed by coach Andrea Anastasi returned to work under the orders of the red and white athletic trainer Davide Grigoletto. The three, who immediately appeared motivated and on track, joined the rest of the group in the afternoon for a technical session, as always open to the public.

At Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza we are now awaiting the return of libero Luca Loreti who is currently engaged with the Italian Under 20 national team at the European Category Championships.

Antoine Brizard: “I spent two weeks just resting, winning gold at the Olympics in front of my home crowd gave me incredible emotions that I never thought I could experience. Now in this country there is only my club, there is Piacenza, here too I want to get some satisfaction. The team is strong, I’m ready to start again for a new season which will be important.”

Yuri Romanò: “Now I’m just testing in Piacenza with the knowledge that the team is strong and can fight for important goals while standing up to its main opponents. These days of rest have served to unplug both mentally and physically, I’m ready to start a new season, I feel energized and ready to start again.”

Gianluca Galassi: “I’m happy to start a new season and I’m happy to be able to do it here in Piacenza. The desire to win that the club has is the same that I have, last season I enjoyed three finals in three different events and I didn’t win any of them, here I want to win. I found a good environment here, I’m happy to be part of a serious and top-level project.”

Double training today and tomorrow, Friday 30 August weights and athletics in the morning and in the afternoon starting at 5pm, first joint training of the season: at the Palarquato in Castell’Arquato with Allianz Milano.
