He arrived in Perugia in the 2019-2020 season, he was just 23 years old and is now preparing to play his sixth consecutive season with the Sir Susa Vim shirt with a wealth of experience consolidated year after year: the Juventus central defender Roberto Russo was among the last ones, together with Simone Giannelli and Kamil Semeniuk, to reach the PalaEvangelisti to resume training with his teammates.
«I arrived here when I was practically a kid and now I’m a little more mature; I feel good in Perugia and I’m fine, it’s like a second home and so I can’t wait to start playing this season in front of our crowd, I hope it will be as large as every year: it has always given us a hand to win and we will try to do our best to obtain the results that society would like.”
