Everything is ready for the official start of the 2024/2025 season of the Rinascita Volley Lagonegro, second consecutive year in the A3 Credem Banca series: the appointment is set for Thursday 22 August at 10 am at the Palazzetto dello Sport of Villa d’Agri, with the canonical welcome greetings to the team from President Nicola Carlomagno, the club and the technical staff.
The gathering will have the flavor of the first day of school, but will already be important for the purposes of the intense work program drawn up by coach Pino Lorizio and his collaborators (the deputy Giuseppe Pisano, the trainer Vincenzo Ghizzoni, the physio Nico Di Pierro): the complete roster will undergo functional tests and measurements of numerical parameters on the physical progress achieved in the last month and a half: each player, in fact, has already carried out a personalized pre-preparation training plan and the data analysis will allow the staff to best build the work program.
The planning of the first week includes functional tests and measurements also on Friday 23rd, while Saturday 24th is the day dedicated to medical visits. The actual preparation will begin on Monday 26th: an hour of work in the water in the morning, in the afternoon we will move to the gym for the first tastes of work with the ball. The first weights session is scheduled for the morning of Tuesday 27th.
