The start of the fourth week of pre-season preparation for 2024/25 brings two important new features for the men’s Itas Trentino. From today, after a Sunday of rest, the activity will continue exclusively at the daily Arena and will do so with an important addition to the group such as the Brazilian central defender Flavio Gualberto.
The modernization works on the facility in via Fersina (carried out during the summer months and regarding parquet and acoustics) are about to be completed, so much so that from this week onwards the European champion team will be able to carry out both the weights sessions and the of technique with the ball in the historic yellow-blue house. For the next seven days the program prepared by the staff will be even more intense, taking into account that the players will undergo a double session (weights in the morning and technique in the late afternoon) similar to today’s also on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, while on Saturday they will work only in the afternoon and on Thursday will they be able to rest.
Fabio Soli now has eight of the fourteen members of the new squad at his disposal, thanks to the inclusion of Flavio Gualberto; the thirty-one year old placed 3 green and gold is the first veteran of the Paris Olympics to make himself available to the staff and already in the afternoon he will train with his teammates on the central court of the arena.
