The Volley Tricolore retreat in the Reggio Emilia mountains is almost coming to an end. After the walk on the Bismantova Stone and the karaoke evening, the athletic training work continues in the gym. On the morning of Sunday 11 August, in addition to weights and a bit of aerobics in the pool, the athletes trained on the sand in the afternoon, touching the ball for the first time with a couples game similar to beach volleyball.
That same evening, after dinner, the team and staff went to Marola to the DiscoMarola party, organized by the Marola pro-loco itself, with live music from the band directly from Reggio Emilia of the Bandaraba’ band. The Marola square was full of people and enthusiasm after the brief presentation of the new Volley Tricolore team.
A new week begins and on Monday 12 August in the early afternoon the group from Reggio Emilia visited the Conad City in Felina managed by Stefano Castellini. They then headed to Razzolo to the Acetaia Razzoli of the famous skier Giuliano Razzoli and his sisters, Giordana and Margherita. After the first part of explanation of the process that leads to the PDO balsamic vinegar of Reggio Emilia, of which Giuliano is president of the Consortium, and the visit to the vinegar barrels, the team and staff were honored with an excellent aperitif with the products of quality from Razzoli.
Not to be missed that same evening is the Bocce tournament at the Felina Bocciofila in the company of President Goffredo Ricci. Great competitive spirit and fun on the bowling greens, accompanied by a bit of fried gnocco before proclaiming the winners of the 2024-2025 season, the center back Rocco Barone and the spiker Mattia Gottardo.
