Modena played a friendly game this afternoon against Unterhaching, German league finalist last season and which will take part in the Champions League. Without Berezhko and Kooy, cautiously rested, Modena battled it out until the tight break in what has been played with the spirit of a real game. Modena eventually lost it at the tie-break but this will definitely be a profitable test ahead of Sunday’s clash against Treviso (6pm).

“It was a good friendly against a strong team – confirmed middle blocker Piscopo – We are working very hard right now, Sunday’s win was very important but now we have a very tough one ahead. Treviso is always Treviso, we all know their players, this is one of the strongest teams of the league”.
