To compete at the highest levels, it is not enough to set up a competitive roster, but a very high level management team is needed to meet the daily needs of the kids under coach Esposito. President Fabrizio Ruggiero strongly wanted the confirmation of Vincenzo Mosca as Team Manager of Folgore in Serie A, to follow the team closely, acting as a trait d’union between the club and the locker room.

After announcing the entire roster, what opinion can you give on the first team’s summer market?

“Absolutely positive. With each passing year the level of the championship rises higher and higher, but our president Ruggiero is never surprised, and also this season he has managed to set up an increasingly important and competitive team in all fundamentals. All this, without ever neglecting the ethics that distinguish us, in addition to the values of professionalism, competence and spirit of sacrifice”.

The teams in the Blue Group are reduced to 11: how important will it be to minimize the margin of error in each match?

“This year it will be even more difficult to gain a place among the big teams in the championship, but we will try without any doubt. The new formula requires us to give our best in every match: at the end of the regular season no team will finish their journey prematurely, so there will only be 2 roads. Play-off or play-out, and we aim to play a leading role.”

A new team, totally renewed, with the right mix of youth and experience. How important will it be to immediately create a great, solid and united group?

“It will be essential to immediately create a cohesive group, because it is the characteristic that will allow us to overcome those moments of difficulty that are inevitably encountered in every season. I’m very confident on this aspect, because coach Esposito is very good at bringing out the best from the roster at his disposal.”

In the fourth year in a row in A3, where is the goal bar set this time?

“First of all, we must improve the result of the last 3 seasons, in which we always saved ourselves by avoiding the play-off lottery. We have all the credentials to do it, and we don’t set any limits. At the same time we will always have to be on the ball, remembering last year’s experience, which taught us that just one small miss is enough to find ourselves fighting in the quicksand of the rankings.”
