The name of the second setter for the Sieco Service Ortona Season 2024/2025 has been revealed. He is a young man from Abruzzo born in 2004 and 188 centimeters tall, Lorenzo Alcantarini arrives in blue and white.
Born in Pescara on 5 July, Lorenzo lives in Teramo where he got to know volleyball in his hometown team, Teramo Volley, when he was twelve years old. In parallel with his career in the youth sector, again with Teramo and although very young, Alcantarini made a few appearances with the “big boys” of Serie D and Serie C. Then came the loan to Fortitudo, another team from the city of Teramo to play on a permanent basis. , the Serie C championship. Precisely during this experience, Lorenzo comes across Sieco Service for the first time, playing as an opponent with the boys from the local Serie C.
At 17 the first leap in quality came for Alcantarini. In 2021 Lorenzo tries his luck with an audition for Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia. Profile passed, it goes without saying, and Lorenzo remained in Vibo for two seasons, the first in Serie C, the second in Serie B.
For the 2023/2024 season it is still Serie B for Lorenzo Alcantarini but this time with the Sab Group Rubicone team.
