The first of the three days of work dedicated to Volley Mercato 2024 has been archived, the usual meeting at the beginning of the season which brings together, this year at the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio, in the province of Bologna, managers, professionals and protagonists of the Serie A company Credem Banca.
In the morning, a meeting was held on the activity of the “Court Manager”, a training moment for the clubs aimed at updating everything relating to technologies and connections on the pitch, including news and insights relating to Video Check, broadcast data with Scout Man and other technologies already used in the field. Also in the morning, a round table was held with the SuperLega clubs on the activity of the general secretariat, focused on strategies and mechanisms to be used.
In the afternoon, consultations were held, reserved first for Serie A2 clubs and then for Serie A3 teams. Also in the afternoon, the round table “Underage athletes: between the abolition of sporting restrictions and the enhancement of contractual freedom”, where the representatives of the athletes and sports agents had the opportunity to discuss future scenarios linked to the abolition of sporting restrictions; the new members of the companies’ communication areas then took part in a short introductory meeting on the practices and requests in the press office and communication field, as well as various innovations introduced during the last season and the salient points in view of next year.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 17 July, the first window relating to athlete registrations will close. Any membership after tomorrow’s deadline (with the exception of players who did not play in Serie A Credem Banca last season) will only be able to take the field after the third matchday.
