A European experience as a protagonist awaits Massimo Eccheli’s Vero Volley Monza this season. Thanks to the amazing year just ended, the first men’s team of the Consortium rightfully earned the first, historic access to the highest continental club competition, the CEV Champions League.

Today, the “Drawing of Lots” draws, organized as always by the CEV in Luxembourg, started the countdown for the 2024/25 edition of the continental event, announcing the pairings of the five groups. Inserted in the first pot, Vero Volley Monza was drawn in Pool B together with the Germans Giesen, the Turks Fenerbahce Istanbul and the winner of the third round match between two teams from the qualifiers.

Change of formula for this 2024/25 edition of the Champions League. The CEV has in fact decided to abandon the Superfinals, introduced in the 2019 Berlin edition, to return to its origins with the Final Four. The 2024-2025 Champions League will therefore no longer have a single final but will return to being played on the formula which includes semi-finals and a 1st and 2nd place final, while the final for 3rd place will not be played. The Final that will award the Cup will be played on 17-18 May 2025.
