“The start of work – underlines coach Andrea Anastasi – will be very soft also because several players arrive after a long period of inactivity. The objective is to reunite the group that will begin training and that of the players involved in the national team at the end of August. We will have different levels and the situation will be evaluated day by day. The aim is to get the complete group ready for the first test match that we will play at the end of August. The team is new, those who arrive from commitments with their national team will have fifteen days of holiday. Perugia and Trento start with the underdogs, Perugia is even stronger than last season, we place ourselves in a large group of teams to be discovered, we are new just as Modena and Lube are new. After the first weeks of work we will evaluate with the sporting director Ninni De Nicolo whether some players can join to give us a hand in training”.
