Emma Villas Siena scores a success in Brazil. Carioca spiker Alan Patrick Araujo is a new blue and white player. Born on 3 January 1995 in Patos de Minas, it will be Alan Patrick’s first sporting experience outside his country. He arrives in Europe after playing for important Brazilian teams such as Volei Renata, where he played last season, and Sesi. He had top-quality teammates, from Bruno to the former Emma Villas Siena volleyball player, Renato Russomanno. He has just experienced the championship final in the Brazilian championship, now he is preparing to cross the ocean to live his first European experience.

Last year with Volei Renata ranked second in the Brazilian championship, just behind Sesi. Previously, when he wore the Sesi shirt, Alan Patrick Araujo had won a Copa Libertadores in the 2019-2020 season and in the previous year, therefore in the 2018-2019 season, he had won the Brazilian Super Cup.

On April 28, Alan Patrick played in the final of the Brazilian championship, which his Volei Renata lost 3-0 against Sesi. Now his move to Europe has materialized with his first sporting season which he will live in Italy. At 29, Alan Patrick arrives in the old continent with the aim of showing all his qualities and also putting into play his experience gained in important Brazilian companies.

The Brazilian spiker will therefore be one of the two foreigners on the Emma Villas Siena roster for the next sporting season. The other will be the French setter Thomas Nevot.

With the purchase of Alan Patrick, the roster of the Sienese team practically closes for next season. The places in the Sienese roster are all occupied, the various boxes have been filled, the operations were carried out earlier by the biancoblu club compared to what happened previously and a week earlier than the volley market, a classic summer event in which the calendars for the following season.
