Alessandro Bovolenta, who will wear the Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza shirt for the next three seasons, was awarded the “Gianfranco Badiali” Award as the best Italian Under 23 player for the 2023-2024 Serie A2 season played with the Ravenna shirt. This recognition, awarded through the voting of the clubs of the season, represents a significant achievement for Alessandro who is currently engaged with the Italian national team in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The recognition constitutes a nice certificate of esteem for the opposite, born in Rome but adopted by Ravenna, who approached volleyball at the age of eleven, after leaving a promising career in football. After playing in the Ravenna youth sector, he made his debut in the SuperLega with the Consor Ravenna shirt in the 2021-2022 season and in the last two seasons he was a protagonist, again with Ravenna, in the A2 championship. From next season he will wear the Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza shirt.
