It’s official. Padova spiker Luca Porro has been called up by coach Ferdinando De Giorgi to take part in the next Olympic Games in Paris 2024. “This call-up is a dream come true. In fact, I think that, regardless of the sport you practice, participating in the Olympics is every athlete’s dream,” declared Luca.
The technical commissioner Ferdinando De Giorgi, in fact, has included Luca Porro in the list of 12 athletes, as well as a reserve player, who will play the men’s volleyball tournament, scheduled from 26 July to 11 August, at the South Paris Arena 1 This is an important milestone for Luca and for our entire society, which sees one of its athletes represent Italy on the international scene.
