The two young athletes from the Kioene Padova Academy, Francesco Bergamasco and Mattia Galiazzo, will become part of the Padova first team group for the entire pre-season preparation phase in view of the start of the 2024_25 SuperLega season. During the year they will then be supported by the first team on an individual growth path.
Their integration within the Paduan team represents an important recognition of the work carried out in the building by the two athletes and the staff of our youth sector.
Francesco Bergamasco grew up within the Padua youth sector, starting from the Under 14s and then continuing up to the U19 – Serie B team, of which he is captain. Francesco was recently called up for the National Junior Under 20 team, which is currently being held in Camigliatello Silano (Cosenza), in preparation for the European Category Championships.
Mattia Galiazzo joined the Juventus Academy three years ago, thanks to the collaboration that has existed for some years between our youth sector and Volley Sant’Angelo. Mattia, like his brother Luca, began his sporting career in the Under 13s in Sant’Angelo, where he remained until the U16s, before continuing in Padua.
