Smartsystem Fano completes the set of central defenders with the arrival of the Lombard Federico Compagnoni, born in 2003, 205 cm, coming from Castellana Grotte (A2) where he has played since December 2023. Previously for him an experience in Marcianise, an opponent of the Fano players in the blue group of the A3 series: “When I learned of the possibility of coming to Fano – says Federico – I had no doubts, I am very happy with this opportunity that was offered to me and happy to play in a club that I have always heard good things about a coach who I consider to be among the best in the category.”
The new Virtussino central defender has fond memories of the Palazzetto di Fano: “I have wonderful memories of the Palas Allende as I achieved important results here with the Junior League and with the under 19s”.
Compagnoni warns everyone about the next season: “Every match will be a battle – continues the former Brugherio – there will be opponents with an important roster thanks to the presence of players from the Super League”. The boy from Castiglione delle Stiviere personally has a significant objective: “I want to grow as a central defender but the fundamental thing is that I will make myself available to the team for every need.”
Lastly, Compagnoni makes a special greeting: “To the Fano fans who I can’t wait to meet and get to know.”
