The Doppio Zero Chalet in Lido di Fermo hosted the presentation of the 17th edition of Beach Volley Young, the sand volleyball Academy organized by M&G Scuola Pallavolo in collaboration with numerous other volleyball clubs in the area: Montegiorgio Volley, Pallavolo Grotta 50, Teen Volley Academy Rapagnano, Volleyball Fermo, Volleyball Azzurra Academy, Monte Urano Volley, Emmont Volley, Volleyball School Fermana. An activity that has now become an authentic point of reference for the Fermo summer, so much so that it has obtained the patronage of the FIPAV Ascoli Piceno – Fermo Territorial Committee, as well as the Municipality of Fermo, and capable this year of attracting the beauty of over 200 registered, a new record for an event capable of surpassing itself edition after edition.

At the press conference, followed by a large number of journalists and broadcasters, Massimiliano Ortenzi, coach of the Yuasa Battery newly promoted to the Super League and technical director of the Academy, wanted to respond; at his side Riccardo Vecchi, captain of the Grotese team and instructor in all previous editions of the event. The Mayor of Fermo Paolo Calcinaro will do the honors, together with the sports councilor of the capital Alberto Maria Scarfini.

And it was Calcinaro himself who opened the meeting, recalling how “the Lido di Fermo – Grottazzolina combination comes from afar (the current one is the third consecutive year that the Academy is held in Lido di Fermo) and wants to provide further impetus to a exceptional result like that of the Yuasa Battery.”
“Lido di Fermo is once again the base of an amazing movement” continues the mayor “which also includes the Fermo volleyball clubs and which confirms this location as a key center for beach volleyball activities”. Obviously, there is no shortage of congratulations to the Yuasa Battery team for their extraordinary achievement of the Super League.
