Alessandro Toscani, born in 1998, originally from Ortona, will join coach Jacopo Cuttini’s roster starting from the next SuperLega 2024_25 season. The libero from Abruzzo began his sporting career with the team of his hometown, Impavida Ortona, in 2013, and then played in various Italian Serie A2 teams, including GoldenPlast Potenza Picena, Sieco Service Ortona, BCC Castellana Grotte, Agnelli Tipiesse Bergamo.
In the last season Toscani was promoted to the top Italian championship, defending the colors of Sir Susa Vim Perugia. Standing 175 cm tall, he stood out as a libero thanks to his defensive ability and precision in the fundamentals of the game.
The libero from Abruzzo expressed great enthusiasm for this new adventure in the shadow of the Saint: “I am very happy to join the Juventus team starting from the next SuperLega season. I know several people who have played and who will play in Padua and they spoke really well to me about it, both in terms of the city, which is wonderful, and with regards to all those people who revolve around the club: the technical staff, the fans, the club itself. I’m really happy”.
Speaking about his expectations for the next championship, Toscani added: “My expectations for this season are first and foremost to grow on an individual level, as well as as a group. Being a group helps a lot to grow and my intent is precisely to improve on a technical level and I am sure that the Juventus staff can help me achieve these goals.”
