Second reconfirmation regarding the roster of Avimecc Volley Modica, which after the agreement with the captain Stefano Chillemi, has also put pen to paper with the Brazilian setter Pedro Putini, who for the third consecutive year will remain in the shadow of the Castello dei Conti and will be the “mind” of the game of the white and blues of Modica.
Born in 1990, he is a highly experienced athlete on whom the reconfirmed coach Enzo Distefano will be able to count, as he knows the A3 series very well. Arriving in Modica from Wow Green House Aversa, Putini is one of the most expert setters in the category, also boasting experience in the Spanish Serie A, where he wore the Ushuaia Ibiza shirt and in the Italian A2 series, where he defended the colors of Synergy Mondovì.
Now his third experience with the blue and white shirt with which the Brazilian setter wants to raise the bar of ambitions.
“I am very happy to be able to stay in Modica – declares Pedro Putini – and I thank the club for this. What will start soon will be my third season with Volley Modica. I feel very comfortable here and feel at home. Like every year – he continues – I expect a difficult championship in a group where all the teams always try to improve and do better than previous seasons and we too will aim to do this. This year in our group there will be clubs that historically prepare great teams to always aim for the top. I can’t wait to get started to meet my new teammates and see the old ones to whom I am very close and – concludes Putini – to start doing what I love, playing volleyball”.
