Coming from Wimore Salsomaggiore Terme, with whom he concluded the Serie A3 championship, the 28-year-old from Trieste (born in 1996) returns to the shadow of the Torre di Cerrano after a double experience already lived in the past: Bulfon, in fact, wore the shirt of ‘ABBA in the two-year period 2017-2019 in Serie B and then again in the first part of the 2020/21 season, which then continued in Serie A2 with Kemas Lamipel Santa Croce.

“I’m really excited to return to Pineto – says Bulfon – where I have already had the pleasure of playing for two years. Here you can breathe and there is a great volleyball tradition rooted over the years. I am convinced that the company has set up a high-level roster that will allow us to achieve great satisfaction. I’m very excited about this new experience and I can’t wait to get started.”

Opposite of 198 centimetres, Andrea Bulfon, after starting his career in his hometown – Trieste – wore the shirts of Appignano (B1), Macerata (Superlega), Castellana Grotte (A2), Alessano (A2) at senior level. Fano (A3), Santa Croce (A2) and Sieco Service Ortona (A2 and A3). In the last two years he also has experience with Motta di Livenza and Salsomaggiore Terme, where he concluded last season with 232 total points (187 in attack, 38 blocks and seven aces). In Pineto, among other things, the diagonal formed by Bulfon and the setter Mattia Catone, already seen at work in the first part of the 2023/24 year in Motta di Livenza, will come back to life. Furthermore, in the battery of opposites, the class of ’96 from Giulia will team up with the Finnish Samuli Kaislasalo, already made official in recent weeks.
