Andrea Lanci, former general manager and son of the unforgettable Tommaso, who passed away on May 2nd, will take the reins of Sieco Service Impavida Ortona, assuming the role of President.
«I accept my Father’s office with honor. Succeeding him is a source of pride for me, even if replacing such a generous, altruistic and far-sighted man will certainly not be a walk in the park. I take on this important role also and above all for him. My dad was very attached to this club and I know that he would not have been discouraged by this last season that went wrong. Despite the difficulties, despite the discouragement, we decided to move forward and do it as best we could by setting up a team that I am sure will be able to navigate the top positions of the group to which we will be assigned.” These are Andrea Lanci’s first words as president. “There’s still a long way to go before the season starts, but I would like everyone – players, staff, fans – to dedicate the next championship in their hearts to the memory of my father.”
