Another firm point of the new Volley Banca Macerata is the confirmation of the second coach Federico Domizioli alongside coach Castellano. A veteran in red and white, he knows the environment perfectly and has great experience in volleyball; Domizioli experienced the great promotions up to Serie A, including the last one, achieved in the season just ended, “Together with the staff we did a perfect job, the results obtained speak for themselves. I got on well with Castellano and in fact, faced with the possibility of continuing together in A2, I had no doubts in accepting the proposal”, explains the second coach.
Among the secrets of success was the work on the team, “The right alchemy was created with the group that brought us to A2, it is an aspect on which Castellano is always very attentive. I am confident that another solid group will be created for next season too: in addition to some certainties, we are welcoming several new players, who we have been studying for some time, they are great professionals and I am sure they will be happy in Macerata.”
