Frumuselu landed in Aversa

Cristian Frumuselu is the new middle blocker of Wow Green House Aversa. On June 7th he will be 27 years old, 207 centimeters tall, and comes from the Super League. This alone would be enough to say that he is a player who can make the difference in Serie A2. In the last season he was in Catania in the Super League, in Sicily he was for three years (in Serie A3 and then in the top Italian championship). Italian-Romanian (he was born in Dragotesti) and already super excited for the new adventure in Normandy after having already played on several occasions at PalaJacazzi. He also played in Sabaudia while he made his debut in Serie A3 with Corigliano, with whose shirt he played even before in B, C and in the youth sector. It was in Calabria that he also met coach Giacomo Tomasello (they played together) and the new setter of Wow Green House Aversa Garnica.
“The Super League has always been my dream and goal, and with Catania I can say I have achieved it. Immediately after the end of the championship, however, I received the phone call from Aversa and I absolutely couldn’t say no. I was attracted by the club’s technical project and from the warm environment that I experienced as an opponent. I played several times in the Aversa stadium, and it was always bedlam. I sincerely hope to experience it again throughout the season, we need the public who will be the extra man of this team. It’s clear that we also talked about objectives with the club, I had the opportunity to discuss with the director and I know that a team is being built for the top of the table. We want to do something important, but for now it’s right say that you need to keep your head down and pedal.”
And then he ‘reveals’ the relationship with coach Tomasello: “In Corigliano we played a season together and we felt very affectionate in recent days. He spoke to me about his volleyball beliefs, he underlined that we will work a lot in the gym because we have a project important that must allow the PalaJacazzi to always be full. How? By winning as many as possible, we will give everything, we will have fun together.”
