The 31st edition of the Del Monte® Junior League 2024 is getting ever closer to the start, which this year will enliven the fields set up in Bologna (Palasport of Ozzano dell’Emilia and Palestra Kennedy of San Lazzaro di Savena): the eight participating teams will try to access to the Final on Sunday 2 June, where in addition to the possibility of playing for the title, there will also be an important novelty waiting for them.
On the occasion of the main event that will award the title, the Video Check will be installed for the first time, making its ‘debut’ in the Junior League. Fourteen cameras will support referees and coaches during the most important match, in order to see and control the key actions. Video Check is the instant replay created and developed by the Serie A Volleyball League, used for the first time in 2012/13, and also used for 8 years in Serie A2 and for 5 in Serie A3.
Not only the news regarding the Video Check: for all spectators who will not be able to attend the Final live on Sunday 2 June (scheduled for 4.30 pm at the Palasport in Ozzano), a YouTube live broadcast with a high-level video production is planned: three cameras, direction, commentators, replays, graphics and interviews in order to offer all fans an unforgettable show. Without forgetting that all 18 matches of the Del Monte® Junior League will be broadcast live on the Lega Pallavolo Serie A YouTube channel.
