Born in Recanati on 8 January 2005, Francesco encountered volleyball in the city of Loreto where he took his first, small steps into the world of minivolley. It was also in Loreto that Francesco grew up and with Loreto Volleyball he will play his first “Under championships” before attracting the attention of Lube in 2018. Sports life in Civitanova is not just the youth sector and in fact, in the 2021/ 2022, Giacomini with the Lube shirt wins a promotion from Serie C to Serie B.
However, the greatest satisfactions for the newly fearless come from his experiences in the Macerata youth sector. With the Lube Unders, Francesco Giacomini won fifteen regional titles in the Under category, which then translated into placings always among the best five in Italy. He also won many individual prizes in these youth tournaments as the best in his role.
With his performances, Francesco attracted the attention of the Italian national team who recruited him for their youth teams. With the blues, the central defender scored 58 points of which 22 blocks and 6 aces.
