There were 22 appearances that Szwarc, author of 296 points (11 aces and 34 blocks), collected with the Monza shirt in the 2023/2024 season, all enriched by important plays and excellent shifts from nine metres. Currently engaged with the Canadian national team at the VNL 2024, Szwarc also wore the Cisterna shirt in his career, from 2019 to 2022. Raised at the University of York, with which he played three seasons, and subsequently with the FTC Team Canada (16/17), his first European experience dates back to the 17/18 season, in which he played with the French team Arago Sete.
Szwarc was born in Canada to Polish parents (which is why he also has a Polish passport). He started playing as a central defender, moving to the opposite role permanently in the 2021/2022 sporting year. He has been part of the Canadian senior selection since 2017, the year of the Bronze medal at the World League. Two years later he achieved third place in the NORCECA Championship, also being called up to represent his country at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
