This was an important Sunday for the club. The A2 team made its debut in the S.Allende gym in Cinisello Balsamo, where it will play all its home games, and it took part in a tournament with Volley Segrate and Genova. In the opening match, Milan had the better of Volley Segrate 2-1 with outside hitter Di Manno as the star man but the second encounter proved a lot tougher. Milan went down in straight sets against Genova. All in all this proved a very useful tournament to try out a few schemes. Now, the next friendly will be on Saturday 9 October in Nova Milanese against Monza (4.30pm).
