Lorenzo Giani is the new setter of Aurispa DelCar for the 2024/25 Serie A3 Credem Banca season. The first novelty this year comes directly from the Super League, where Giani (born in 2002) played in the last championship with the Cisterna Volley shirt.
Giani grew up in the Vero Volley Consortium, where he won the Under 16 championship and the Regions Trophy (2018). From 2019 to 2021 he played in the Super League with Vero Volley Monza, then arrived at Top Volley (2021/2022), then in Brescia in A2 and, finally, last year in Cisterna.
The Salento club trusts in the hands of the director from Como who, despite his young age, can already boast great experience at very high levels, after years spent between the Super League and Serie A2. The sporting director of Aurispa DelCar, Antonio Scarascia, makes one of the most influential players on the roster available to Mister Tonino Cavalera, which is being set up in view of the new season.
