Fourth addition to ABBA Pineto which will face the 2024/25 Serie A2 Credem Banca season. To strengthen the roster comes the young Matteo Iurisci, a 16 year old spiker (2007) who grew up in the ranks of Cucine Lube Civitanova. With the Marches Iurisci, 188 centimeters tall and very talented, took part in last season’s Serie B championship. Now for him an important experience in the second series, where he will wear the same blue and white shirt that his father Gervasio Iurisci had worn in the past, both as a player and later as a coach.
“I am very happy to start this journey with ABBA Pineto,” says Matteo Iurisci. “For me it will be a new experience in which I will try to give my best day by day. I can’t wait to get to know an environment that I have always respected and appreciated from the outside. I thank the club very much for their trust and I can’t wait to find our fans at Pala Santa Maria.”
In the meantime, DS Massimo Forese and the club continue the work of preparing the roster. In the next few days, the names of new arrivals who will make up the staff for the next sporting year will be communicated.
