You never get to the Scudetto Final by chance. On the eve of the third act of the decisive series for the victory of the Italian flag in the Credem Banca SuperLega Play Offs, the two contenders for the scepter of the most beautiful championship in the world won a match each. The 1-1 situation makes the development of the contest very uncertain, although Sir Susa Vim Perugia has the advantage of the home round in Game 3, i.e. tomorrow, Thursday 25 April (6.00 pm), and in the possible Game 5. Next up a face is equivalent to a fundamental crossroads. An exploit by Mint Vero Volley Monza at the PalaBarton, in fact, would allow the Brianza team to play the next match at home for the first Scudetto in its history. In case of success of the Block Devils in the third sporting battle, however, the Umbrians would be the ones to play for the title in the fourth match of the best-of-five series. What is certain, on the eve of the match, is the excellent volleyball offered by both teams, both from a purely technical and competitive point of view. In the last match Monza was able to give the sprint to serve, but Perugia never gave the feeling of falling at the mercy of their opponents and, with some changes on the pitch, they now intend to put their heads back. The teams now know each other perfectly, but the measures of the technical staff and the shots of the many champions present could tip the scales to one side or the other. In the current season, until last Sunday, Mint had failed to beat Sir. Now that Massimo Eccheli’s sextet has broken the ice, Angelo Lorenzetti and a packed sports hall have the task of recharging the Bianconeri.
