A decision that was in the air and which is the result of the mutual respect demonstrated several times on both fronts. “Yes, on the part of the management as well as mine – declares Gustinelli – there was objectively the desire to continue the path that began with a different role in January 2023 and which would otherwise have ended next June. I am extremely satisfied, enthusiastic and stimulated to continue the relationship with Pallavolo San Giustino and I personally thank the president Elena Gragnoli on behalf of the entire company and clearly the CEO Claudio Bigi, with whom in this year and a half I have had the luck and the pleasure of being able to collaborate. There are many stimuli, even if this confirmation went through some particular steps; as far as I’m concerned, already last December 27th, in front of the board of directors and in the face of a not entirely idyllic economic prospect, I had given my willingness to carry on regardless. Then, during the first months of the new year, Bigi and the whole club worked hard to try to raise as much funds as possible and to ensure that this splendid season was not an end in itself.”
