The libero Davide Luzzi, a true Tarantino, remains in Taranto with the Gioiella Prisma Volley shirt. The desire on the part of President Antonio Bongiovanni and Elisabetta Zelatore therefore continues to promote an emerging player in the city area who makes the entire corporate environment proud and enthusiastic. Davide was able to honor the colors of Taranto by also adding the emotional side of territorial belonging to his technical value. He made his debut in the home match against Milan, putting in a good performance and later also fought on the pitch in Catania, after having been able to patiently wait for his moment by working consistently, a valuable experience which led him to confirm his desire to wear the rossoblù also for next season.
Davide Luzzi was born in Taranto in 2004, 1.78 cm tall.
He took his first steps with Frascolla Taranto, then in professional volleyball in Castellana Grotte where he won the U19 championship and also tried his hand at Serie B.
The 2022-23 season is in Grottaglie, in Serie B, he reaches the play offs, and with Materdomini he finishes third in the national youth finals.
Davide has grown over the months with the Ionian team, working together with champions and expert professionals and will still be able to learn a lot by competing daily with intense and stimulating work for his young age, in a championship where the highest technical level in the world reigns.
