On Sunday 31 March, Easter Sunday, Aurispa DelCar hosts the Rinascita Lagonegro at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Tricase, on the occasion of the first leg of the first round of the playoffs.
Two athletes spoke in Mondoradio’s studios for the pre-game interview: spiker and captain Tiziano Mazzone and center back Michele Deserio.
At the beginning of the broadcast, the strengths of Aurispa DelCar were discussed and Deserio admitted: “Our team certainly has excellent technical value, we have demonstrated it with the big teams in our group, with Macerata and with Lagonegro himself, therefore we don’t lack technique. I’m of the opinion – insisted the centre-back – that winning helps to win and, after we broke free in Sorrento, we looked at each other and rediscovered our identity, so the credit goes to us because we always went in gym to work and the fruits, for better or worse, we managed to reap them.” Mazzone insisted: “We have rediscovered that confidence that we had shown at the beginning of the championship and that after a while we had lost. Now, however, we have found ourselves again and we must try to make the final leap, because what has been done up until now Now it doesn’t matter anymore.”
