After having concluded the regular season with deep satisfaction, Belluno Volley is ready to experience the first adventure of its history in the Serie A3 Credem Banca playoffs. And the initial round coincides with the round of 16. By virtue of the second place obtained in the last stage of the championship, the rhinos will be called to face the seventh of the class: that is, Negrini Cte Acqui Terme. A team in which the former Alessandro Graziani plays and which Colussi’s boys faced no later than ten days ago, at the sports hall in Valenza, in the province of Alessandria. The same facility will also host Game 1 of the playoffs, Monday 1 April: what’s new? It is time-related. Because, as happened in the regular season, the first serve will not be at 6pm, but rather at 7pm.

It is good to focus on the formula: the round of 16 will consist of two first legs (in Piedmont). And return: Sunday 7 April (6pm), at the Spes Arena. Each match offers points up for grabs, as if we were in a championship: specifically, 3 in the event of a 3-0 or 3-1 success, 2 if the victory comes in the tie-break, 1 in the event of a defeat in the fifth set and zero compared to a clear knockout.

At the end of the double match, the conclusions are drawn: if a situation of balance persists, the decisive Golden set will be played, at the end of the return match. It is useless to underline the high percentage of risk in competing for qualification in a partial with an arrival at 15 points (and not the canonical 25). This is why there will be a lot of play right away: from the match scheduled for Easter Monday, in Piedmont. A land that, this year, has smiled on Belluno Volley, victorious both against Savigliano and in the recent face-to-face with Acqui Terme: a clear 3-0, inspired by the 18 points of Andrea Schiro and the 11 of the Bisi-Bucko tandem . But in the playoffs, as we know, everything resets.
