Sport and inclusion. Emma Villas Siena continues on this path, with great attention to social issues. On the occasion of the championship match played by the Sienese club on Monday at the PalaEstra against Aversa, Baskin from Costone and the association If you help me dance too were guests of Emma Villas Siena. It was the first step of a collaboration that will continue and of a partnership and attention paid by the biancoblu club towards associations that work with disabilities.
Today Emma Villas Siena took part in a press conference held in the Sport and Health premises to talk about projects and initiatives in the social field. Present were the marketing and commercial director of Emma Villas Siena, Vittorio Angelaccio; the provincial delegate of the CONI of Siena, Paolo Ridolfi; the sole director of Terrecablate, Marco Turillazzi, the paralympic athlete Matteo Betti; the spiker of Emma Villas Siena, Sebastiano Milan.
“Monday at PalaEstra was a wonderful experience – commented Paolo Ridolfi, provincial delegate of the CONI of Siena – it was an opportunity to raise awareness of associations and an entire world. It is important to network in this sector, and broadening this network even further is fundamental. Initiatives like this make it clear that sport can be for everyone, and can be useful for getting those who think they can’t have a chance in sport to leave home.”
“Being close to sport in general is in our DNA and for years now we have been very close to Paralympic sport – were the words of Marco Turillazzi, sole director of Terrecablate. – Sport is and must be an educational and inclusive phenomenon. We will always be there for projects like this.”
These are the words of Vittorio Angelaccio, marketing and commercial director of Emma Villas Siena: “Sport is a great tool for promoting values and conveying positive messages. We don’t want to create a spot initiative, but we are thinking of a lasting project that puts the theme and issues related to disability at the centre. On Monday at PalaEstra we had guests from associations that work with disabilities and we will continue on this path and on this path that we have undertaken”.
