Mikko Esko did not play with his Finland team against Russia as he decided to dedicate his summer to beach volley, but he was there to support his teammate and welcome spiker Yuri Berezhko in the Modena team. Berezhko was rested too but the two Modena players took the opportunity to have a chat as Mikko visited his new teammate in the hotel.
