The defeat in the Veneto region is in fact the first defeat that does not allow Grottazzolina to move the table, as the only two previous debacles, which came at the hands of Santa Croce and Cuneo, had still brought at least one point to the Fermo team.
A stop, therefore, which perhaps makes the team coached by coach Massimiliano Ortenzi more humane, the only one in the tournament that still lacked a “clear” defeat.
And despite a bad evening on the part of Vecchi and his companions, once again the tie break was more than close, thanks to a super turn of service by Fedrizzi who, from 21-17 in favor of the black-fuchsia team in the fourth set, had allowed Yuasa Battery to even take the lead again and to have, moreover, even more than one set point.
