The Serie A Volleyball League expresses its total closeness to Filippo “Pippo” Callipo following the recent intimidating episodes that occurred against a building of his company, where unknown persons fired some bullets at one of the warehouses in Lamezia Terme.
The statement from the President of the Serie A Volleyball League, Massimo Righi: “I send a big hug to Pippo Callipo, one of the historic cornerstones of the Volleyball League who has personally contributed for twenty years to the success that volleyball is having in these times. I remember other of these threats in the past, but I know that Pippo has never wavered and never will in the face of these episodes, because he is a man endowed with a chain of very important values: the same ones he promoted in volleyball for a long time. We hope to see him back in Serie A soon.”
