Having put the 9th round of the championship and the international events behind them, with excellent results in the European cups and with Perugia’s second world championship at the Club World Cup, the members of the SuperLega Credem Banca dive headlong into the penultimate first leg of the Regular Season in SuperLega Credem Banca. The 10th act of the regular season is scheduled for the weekend of December 16th and 17th. We start with the preview on Saturday, at 6.00 pm with live Rai Sport, between Catania and Modena. The Sunday volleyball marathon, with five matches scheduled, opens in style at 3.45 pm thanks to the big match between Trento and Perugia, with an exceptional catwalk live on Rai 2 (the start of the match will be broadcast on RaiPlay, while from 4.00 pm live broadcast on Rai 2 will begin). At 4.00 pm another breathtaking challenge: Piacenza hosts Civitanova with fundamental points up for grabs for the economy of the ranking. At 4.30pm Milan and Taranto precede, while at the classic time of 6.00pm Verona receives Cisterna and Monza welcomes Padua. The championship round promises to be decisive also with a view to qualifying for the Del Monte® Italian Cup: the top eight at the end of the first round will play the Quarter Finals on 3 and 4 January, with the top four being able to count on the push of its audience. Once this day, the penultimate of the first round, has concluded, it will be the “Boxing Day” of Boxing Day, December 26th, to outline the final draw of the Italian Cup.
