ABBA Pineto Volley is pleased to announce the agreement reached with the Polish opposite Mateusz Frąc, last season playing for MKS Będzin in TAURON 1. Liga, the second division in Poland.
Mateusz Frąc, a 32-year-old, 200cm tall, boasts a first-rate career in his homeland. In particular at a professional level, again in the Polish second league, he wore the shirts of Kluczbork, Bielsko-Biała and Wrocław, before moving to Będzin last year. In the period 2011-2017 he also played for Lechia Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Wałbrzych and Opolska. On three occasions (2018, 2020 and 2023) they finished the TAURON 1. Liga in second place with their respective clubs. The one in Pineto will be his first experience abroad.
In Poland Frąc played 155 matches in the TAURON 1. Liga and scored 1493 points, of which 1179 in attack, 169 in service and 145 in blocks. Last season in Będzin he scored 293 points in 34 games (228 in attack, 39 in service, 26 in blocks), making him the main offensive terminal of his club.
