After a day off to regenerate their heads and muscles, the athletes of Cucine Lube Civitanova returned to work this morning in the weight room, while this afternoon, around 4.30pm, they will all meet under the orders of Chicco Blengini on the Eurosuole taraflex for a technical session. In the sights is the 4th day’s away match scheduled for Sunday 12 November (6pm) against Roberto Piazza’s Allianz Milano at the Allianz Cloud, a facility where the Cucineri achieved a surprising comeback in a critical phase of Game 4 in the Semi-final Play Offs 2022/23.
Fresh from the efforts of the Del Monte® Supercoppa and the 2 hour and 39 minute marathon won at the last gasp on Sunday 5 November against Sir Susa Vim Perugia, in what was the eighth longest match in SuperLega history since the introduction of the Rally Point System, the Cucine Lube Civitanova boasts 5 points in the standings after three rounds and is working with the intention of taking advantage of the full week in search of the third consecutive victory in the Regular Season. The red and whites have to deal with a calendar that will become increasingly packed and which will also see them on stage at the Eurosuole Forum as early as Wednesday 15 November (8.30 pm) for the midweek night match against the freshman Farmitalia Catania for the 5th round forward.
