On Sunday 22 October, before the match between Conad Reggio Emilia and Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, the public witnessed the awarding of the Golden Ball as best scorer of the Serie A3 Credem Banca 2022/2023 to Christoph Marks; the Mayor of Castelnovo ne’ Monti Enrico Bini presented the award.
In addition to presenting the prestigious award to the opposite Marks, Bini had the pleasure of experiencing the match on the sidelines as a guest on the bench: “There are so many emotions, because it was a splendid day. – says the mayor of Castelnovo ne’ Monti at the end of the meeting – I thank the company that invited me and above all the managers, because they allowed me to experience a show that I hadn’t seen for a long time. We risked winning at the last minute, so it was all even more exciting.”
Christoph Marks then reveals himself to be emotional: “It was wonderful to receive the award because it reminded me of the good season with Fano.”
Loris Migliari, general director of Volley Tricolore, underlines the fundamental role that Bini, in recent years, has played to consolidate the relationship between the mountain municipality and the club: “I believe that having this prestigious Golden Ball delivered to a person who has always been close and follows us with passion and friendship, is the natural consequence of the support we have always received from the Municipality and the community of Catelnovo ne’ Monti in recent years”.
Crowning this event was the presence of a large group of the Apennino Volley Team at the match, with a videographic display that recalled the retreat in Felina, symbol of a dedication to Castelnovo ne’ Monti.
