Gas Sales Daiko Piacenza: this will be the name of the team coached by Andrea Anastasi in the Cev Champions League matches, the highest European club event in which the red and white team is participating for the first time.
For the fifth consecutive year Daiko supports the red and white club in the championship and for the second consecutive year gives its name to the team in Europe.
Gas Sales Daiko Piacenza participates in the Cev Champions League thanks to the victory in the 3rd/4th place Play Off last season when it beat Allianz Milano with three consecutive victories.

The regulation gives clubs the opportunity to change the name of the team and we did so thanks to the willingness of the owners to give more space to other sponsors who we thank for the support they are giving us. And I am happy that Daiko is supporting Gas Sales in Europe as well as in the Italian championship as a sponsor. It is the second consecutive season that he has joined us in Europe, a relationship that has consolidated over time and which I am really happy about.”
