Last days of physical preparation for Cisterna Volley which will debut in the Super League on October 22nd by hosting the Italian champions Trento at the sports hall in Via delle Province. Cisterna, which had participated in the Corigliano – Rossano quadrangular in recent days, continued its training program at the sports hall in view of participation in the Gubbio tournament scheduled for 14 and 15 October. The 2023 “Team Spirit” tournament will see Taranto, Padova and the Greeks Panathinaikos on the field, in addition to coach Guillermo Falasca’s Cisterna. It will be a further test in which the Spanish coach will be able to begin to imagine being able to use all the players available in the squad: the Efe Bayram rotation, who underwent a differentiated training period after the European championship, was used sparingly in Calabria and could be useful to the Pontine cause in Umbria. Also in Umbria, Peric and Nedeljkovic could also be available while playing in Japan with their national team. Upon their arrival in Italy, their physical conditions will be assessed and the best strategy for their use will then be chosen. In the meantime, the team will undergo joint training with Aversa, then it will be time to prepare for the away match in Gubbio which will be the last friendly match before the start of the Super League season scheduled for the following Sunday.
In view of the start of the Super League, anticipation continues to grow in the city with fans who are continuing to subscribe to follow the team’s matches: every Wednesday and Friday, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, at the box office of the stadium of Cisterna sport it will be possible to sign up for a season ticket and reserve your place for the entire season.
