For Farmitalia Saturnia a new joint training at PalaCatania with Avimecc Modica. Tomorrow, Saturday 30 September at 6.00 pm, the doors of the volleyball hall in Corso Indipendenza in Catania will welcome another small Sicilian derby. A new friendly between the two teams, who are about to embark on their competitive journey in the SuperLega and Serie A3.

Only last week the two teams had the opportunity to play four sets, putting into practice what they had done in training, with the white and blue team dominating. Now the people of Etna and Modica are ready to repeat the experience and, also for this occasion, Farmitalia Saturnia has chosen to open the doors of PalaCatania to welcome the supporters who had already crowded the stands at the first match.

“We are continuing with our program, which becomes more demanding week after week – explains Piero D’Angelo, head of the technical area – and for the first weekend of October we have two important matches, those against two SuperLega teams, the 6th in Modena and the following day in Monza. They will be two fundamental pre-season tests.”

The Serbian central defender Nemanja Masulovic has not yet been added to the Farmitalia Saturnia lineup, who after his positive experience at the European Championships will from tomorrow be involved together with his national team in the qualifying tournament for the Olympics to be held in Japan in 2024.
