Taranto secured its place in the elite for next season with three games in hand but there is no celebration planned in town. However, staying up was not exactly the primary target at the beginning of the season, the playoffs was the real aim.
“Managing to stay up is always a good achievement for a club of the south – said Chairman Bongiovanni – But we could definitely have done more. We wanted the playoffs and we failed but the verdict of the court does not always meet the expectations”.
