Two players from Rana Verona stood on the podium of the thirty-third edition of the European Championships. On the second step was Leandro Mosca, who won the silver medal with Italy. Rok Mozic, on the other hand, took the bronze medal around his neck with his Slovenia, capable of beating France in the final for 3rd place. A pride for the entire Verona Club.

ITALY

In a festively dressed PalaLottomatica, De Giorgi’s boys are unable to defend the title won two years ago, but they put a very prestigious silver on the board. The final act of the continental review begins with Poland in great shape, which unlocks the challenge despite the recovery of the Azzurri at the end of the partial. Driven by a great Rok Mozic, author of 26 points in total with 1 block and 2 aces, Slovenia moved ahead by two points in the score, before being caught by their opponents. At the tie-break, however, the Slovenians showed greater compactness and achieved the victory which earned them third place. The spiker born in 2002 was one of the protagonists of his national team, finishing the European adventure with a haul of 152 points. For him also 13 winning blocks and 7 aces.
