One month before the championship opener against WiMore Salsomaggiore, the time has come for the Volley Team Club for a first recap after the first intense weeks of athletic preparation. To do this, we got help from the new second coach Alessandro Mamprin, last scoutman (a role he will also maintain this season), who after a summer traveling around the beach volleyball courts in northern Italy has returned completely to the team’s disposal .
Coach Mamprin has in fact participated, as a coach, in various regional stages, obtaining two first places, national stages, with a first place, at the U17 Regions Trophy with which he won gold thanks to the Fratamico – Merlini couple, and has then concluded the adventure with the championship finals in Bellaria Igea Marina.
“We are still in the full preparation period – comments Mamprin – and the boys are responding well both to the 3 morning sessions led by the athletic trainer Giacomo Trevisan and to the work in the gym. Obviously the amount of work in the gym is heavy so you feel a bit heaviness in the afternoon, but the level is rising day after day and it will be like this until we get closer to October 15th, the date on which we aim to be at 100% of our form and at which we will immediately aim to express our best game”
In four days it will be time for the first test match against Delta Volley Porto Viro, away from home on 20 September, an opportunity to test the character of the team and the fruits of the first weeks of work”We are close to the first test match of the season against a category opponent It will certainly not be important to look at the result, but this match will help us learn the boys’ form, try various training solutions, start to have a playing identity and then understand what we will have to work on in the next few weeks of training.” .
Finally, an opinion on the upcoming championship “In my opinion it will be a very balanced championship, there are some formations with some more pieces that can make the difference, but overall all the teams have strengthened including the newly promoted ones, so to do the difference in our favor will be the ability to find the right understanding between those who have already consolidated their place as starters in this championship and who will act as drivers and those who will instead have to demonstrate their worth on the pitch to carve out their own space.”
