This afternoon, Cucine Lube Civitanova supported the first joint training of its preseason at the Eurosuole Forum. Chicco Blengini’s men met open doors with Abba Pineto, the A2 Credem Banca formation which last season posted the Del Monte® Coppa Italia A3 and the Del Monte® Supercoppa di A3.
In the 4.30 pm test, the staff probed the form of the red and whites, returning from the first two weeks of athletic training. The Cuciniero Club sustained an initial tie break and another three sets against their rivals from Abruzzo, showing flashes of good play and closing 3-1.
In addition to the six players from the first team present, namely Francesco Bisotto, Enrico Diamantini, Jacopo Larizza, Matheus Motzo, Jakob Thelle and Ivan Zaytsev, two talents from the youth team who train with the group also took the field, namely Gianluca Cremoni and Andrea Giani . Remnants of the match for the young foreigners who are facing the first part of the preseason in red and white, including the three Bulgarians from Levski Sofia.
On the opposing front, space for some well-known faces, including the former red and white Paolo Di Silvestre, who grew up in the Lube cantera, and Rok Jeroncic, who won a tricolor in Civitanova. The Cuban William Padura Diaz, brother of the former cook Angel Dennis, was the offensive terminal.

In the first set, played in tie break mode with ball change and confirmation ball, La Lube prevails 15-9, taking off from a distance.
In the second part, played with the classic rules, Lube returns to the field with the same line-up, but there is also room for a blitz by the Bulgarian setter Simeon Nikolov, brother of the red and white Alex, of his compatriot Alex Kandev in the band and of the lubino Andrew Giani. The point of the final 25-21 is from a highly motivated Matheus Motzo.
In the third act the landlords arrange themselves with the starting line-up, then Blengini gets the team around, also giving space to the foreign guests. Pineto passes with a good finish (20-25).
In the fourth phase of the test the red and white team continues to experiment and prevails with a score of 25-21.
