It hadn’t happened since Buenos Aires 1964 where the Argentine team won its first title in history by interrupting Brazilian hegemony. For Fernando Kreling, the silver joins the two gold medals won at the South American Championships in 2019 and 2021, in addition to gold at the 2019 World Cup, gold at the 2021 VNL, gold at the 2015 Pan-American Cup and bronze at the 2022 World Cup
